From Words to Wounds: The Digital Face of Bullying
Bullying is the problem of our time, but the bigger issue is that it can now reach you in the digital world as well.
For our Instructional Technologies and Material Design class, we were tasked with creating an infographic. I chose the topic of cyberbullying because I know many people encounter this issue without having enough information about it. My infographic provides basic information on cyberbullying and its consequences, while also showing what steps to take if you need help.
I used Canva to create the infographic. It's easy to use and offers many visual options. I didn't face many difficulties, and I might even say I had fun! The only challenge, believe it or not, was selecting the right colors and aligning visuals and texts. It was surprisingly tough!Implementing this infographic in an English class would be quite easy, and it can effectively inform students about the issue. I tried to choose simple words and supporting visuals.
Every student, especially in today's world, should be educated about cyberbullying. They should know that reaching out for help is a sign of strength, not weakness, and that they deserve to feel safe and respected both online and offline.
Think twice, type nice!
Au revoir mes chers amis!
