English, But Make It Technological!

I started learning English when I was 3. Sometimes it surprises me because neither of my parents could speak English, yet I was expressing myself very well by the age of 5. Even though I would love to claim that I’m a genius, that’s not the case—I couldn’t have done it without the help of technology!

Since I experienced it myself, I know the importance of technology in education. I don’t think it’s optional anymore; it’s a necessity. Nowadays, children learn better through activities, songs, and games, and these are much easier to implement with technology. In the classroom, you have limited time and need to be as effective as possible. You also need to keep children focused and entertained, so technology is not only helpful but also a huge time-saver for teachers.

Technology also makes learning more personal. It caters to different learning styles, and this makes the process more efficient. Being an English teacher is not just about teaching a language; it’s also about teaching a culture. Different cultures may be hard to understand, especially for young learners, but thanks to technology, they can perceive these differences better. They can connect with native speakers, watch videos or documentaries, and read about the culture they’re learning.

Why just teach English when you can make it come alive with technology?
